Good news: eligible ring carriers can now be recycled through store drop-off programs.
Hi-Cone recently announced that its RingCycles™ Ring Carriers are now accepted in the plastic film recycling stream—meaning you can bring them to the same bins used for plastic bags and wraps at participating retail locations.

How to Recycle Flexible Ring Carriers
If you have these flexible ring carriers at home:
- Gather them after use
- Keep them clean and dry
- Take them to your local store drop-off, municipal depot, or other collection method.
Use the Plastic Film Recycling Directory to find film recycling collection methods available to you.
What This Means for You
Flexible ring carriers weren’t previously accepted in store drop-off programs. With this update, you now have a clearer way to recycle them — along with other accepted plastic film materials — all in one place.
